"Did we ask the right questions? Did we tend to skip to the conclusion before defining the problem? When the server broke down, we had some heated discussions, but did we agree on the dysfunction? We needed improvement—and 12 months later, the figures are here, showing how our team has implemented the problem solving process …our progress was steady, going from +10%, +15%, +20% and +35%, and finally reaching +90% after just six months."

Audio Archive: The Promise of Rational Process
playtime: 24 minutes

On October 10, 2001, Kepner-Tregoe founder Benjamin B. Tregoe (1928-2005) and longtime partner and board member, John W. Zimmerman, met at Kepner-Tregoe headquarters for a passionate, revealing, and at times humorous discussion of the past, present, and future of Kepner-Tregoe.

This audio archive presentation distills 24 minutes of the three-hour, videotaped exchange and includes an introduction by Bruce Keener, former CEO and partner of Kepner-Tregoe. During the presentation Ben and John explore the origins and evolution of Kepner-Tregoe as well as the Basic Beliefs, process discoveries, products and services, and client relationships that are fundamental to Kepner-Tregoe.
